Behind Matei Motors is a family built around engines. From a father-in-law who could diagnose a car just by listening, to a brother-in-law who built his own brand in the trade back home. I came to the UK, studied Business Studies with Entrepreneurship at the University of West London, earned my IMI and MOT qualifications — and started building the dream.

We have the unit, the fit-out is nearly finished and the noise assessment is done. Next come the planning application, the DVSA paperwork and only then the Snap-on equipment installation. We publish our real progress rather than a promised date.
